Advice for Shorter and Taller Riders
Motorcycles, like airplanes, are designed to accommodate the largest number of people around the world possible using what is called the "standard man" model (or average man). Unfortunately, a lot of us aren't average. Tall and short riders often need to adjust the bike to get a comfortable riding position.
In no particular order I would suggest the following....
Mirror extenders. Just about everybody needs these no matter what size you are, but if you are bigger you really need them. For the really big, we have extra large mirror extenders. 98% of riders only need our regular extenders, but If we have an extra large option available. I suggest sending me a contact form from the menu to the left before choosing the extra wide version.
Foot peg and control lowering kit with or without Gear shift extension/relocation. Even the knees of riders with 30" inseams appreciate the this kit.
Raising and lowering links. Raise or lower the back of the bike without affecting the travel or performance of your suspension.
Givi Airflow windscreen (7" of adjustability). In a class by itself. A simply outstanding windshield for essentially all riders no matter your height.
Please don't hesitate to call or shoot us a contact form if you have questions.
