Feedback from Adventurtech, LLC Fork Brace Owners
I have been riding motorcycles for fifty two years and have owned twenty six motorcycles. Total motorcycle milage is well over 500,000 Miles.
I Installed the fork brace I purchased from you two weeks ago. After doing so I noticed a profound improvement in low and high speed handling. The Vstrom now goes over bumps at low speed with no change in direction. At higher speeds cross winds and bumps have less effect.
After seeing the difference the fork brace made it makes me wonder why the Vstrom dosnt come with one.
Thank you for a great product.

Don't want to post this since it'd start a flame war -
I swapped bikes with another rider today - he had a xxxxxbrace fitted, I have yours.
Your brace performed far better - the xxxxxbrace sure looks purty though Wink.
When you have a good look you can see that the contact thickness of your brace is effectively about twice that of the xxxxxbrace - I suspect the extra stiffness is from that - whatever it was - the difference wasn't minor.
Well done, and thanks.

I still owe you for the excellent service - so there you are.
The difference was massive - my bike has 75,000k's on it and the front end feels like an >expensive< sports bike - the other bike was much better than stock as well - but "no contest".
I get to ride an Aprilia Tuono factory (with much more expensive professionally tuned suspension than mine) now and then - that's much faster - but at the speeds I can equal I can't fault the DL now.

I got the fork brace a few days ago and then installed it. Just thought I would jot down my review:
I am a 60 year old avid motorcyclist and have been riding for over 50 years. I have owned over 125 various bikes of virtually all types. I installed the fork brace in about 10 minutes, tops.
Appeared to have nice design and build quality. Took the bike (2006 DL1000, 15,000 miles, mostly stock) for a 320 mile shakedown on a beautiful Michigan fall day. Rode as many varied conditions as I could find:
1) Two lane asphalt & concrete state and county roads, 50-60mph, 2) Maintained gravel (ball bearing type) county roads, 40-65mph 3) State forest backroads, hard packed sand to hard clay, 20-40mph 4) Interstate
highways, including “rain grooved” surfaces and buffeting tractor trailer backwash, 65-85mph.
Under ALL riding conditions this fork brace has made a significant handling improvement. Without
the brace the forks had a vague “rubbery” feel. The brace has definitely demonstrated just how weak the stock forks are on this bike. At speeds above 70mph on the Interstate the front end is not as firm as I would
prefer but it has improved. I was considering the overpriced steering damper but
now that will not be needed.
I can highly recommend this product to any DL1000 rider.
Thanks for a great product!

I LOST MY DANCING PARTNER! I ordered your fork brace for my 13 Strom ADV. Thanks for the fast shipping and GREAT product.Suspension is smoother. Corners like a dream. No more dancing on the superslab in 70mph truck wash. Thanks again. R Martins
